GTM ENGINEERING 05 — REVOPS & AUTOMATION

One source of truth, and a system that runs.

Most revenue stacks are four tools that disagree. We architect the data model, wire enrichment and intent into it, automate what should not need a person, and produce one dashboard the CFO and the CRO both trust.

IN BRIEF

  • Strategy Engineered builds revenue operations and go-to-market automation for B2B and SaaS companies.
  • Scope covers CRM architecture, enrichment and intent data, sequencing infrastructure, AI agents and reporting.
  • The output is one revenue dashboard with a single written definition of every metric on it.
  • RevOps builds the instrument. The motion run through it sits under Sales Ops & Enablement.

01 — THE SITUATION

The CRM says one number, the marketing platform says another, and the board deck says a third because someone rebuilt it in a spreadsheet. Nobody is wrong. There are three definitions of a qualified opportunity and no one has written them down.

Beneath that, the stack has grown by accretion. Each tool was bought to solve a real problem and none was integrated into a model, so the team spends its week moving records between systems that were supposed to remove that work.

02 — WHAT WE BUILD

Data model and CRM architectureObjects, stages and definitions written down and enforced. One meaning per field.
Enrichment and intentWhich sources, at what refresh, resolved against one account record rather than four partial ones.
Sequencing infrastructureOutbound and lifecycle systems wired to the same data model, with deliverability and domain hygiene handled properly.
AI agentsWhere a model does the work reliably — research, drafting, routing, summarising — and where it must not.
Automation and routingAssignment, alerting and handoffs that fire on the data rather than on someone remembering.
ReportingOne dashboard. Pipeline, conversion, cycle and forecast accuracy, each with a written definition.

04 — THE FIRST NINETY DAYS

1–2Every field and stage audited. Definitions written and agreed in one document.
3–5Data model rebuilt. Enrichment and intent resolved against one account record.
6–9Automations, routing and alerting live. Deliverability and sync verified end to end.
10–12One dashboard. Forecast model built on the new stage definitions and back-tested.

08 — ENGAGEMENT SHAPES

THE DIAGNOSTICTwo to three weeks. The written diagnosis of your revenue system and the sequenced recommendation. The smallest honest engagement we offer.
THE SPRINTFour to eight weeks. One defined problem — a pricing study, an entry study, a launch architecture — taken from question to decision-grade answer.
THE RETAINERQuarterly. Design and build, held to numbers agreed in advance. Reviewed — and cancellable — at every quarter boundary.
THE EMBEDDEDWe operate inside the motion: a partner and pod accountable for a revenue outcome alongside your team, until the system runs without us.

ENGAGEMENTS START AT $3,000. SCOPE IS SET AFTER THE FIRST CONVERSATION. WE DO NOT PRICE AS A PERCENTAGE OF MEDIA SPEND.

FAQ

Which CRM do you work in?
Salesforce and HubSpot most often. We are stack-agnostic and opinionated about architecture rather than vendors.
Do you replace our RevOps hire?
No. We build the system and hand it over. Where no RevOps function exists yet, we operate it under an Embedded engagement until one does.
Do you build AI agents?
Where they are reliable. We are explicit about where a model should not be in the loop, which is more of the process than most vendors admit.
How long does a rebuild take?
A Sprint of four to eight weeks for the model and core architecture. Automation and reporting follow inside the quarter.
Will this break our reporting during the rebuild?
No. The old reporting runs in parallel until the new definitions are back-tested against a closed quarter.
