ADVISORY 09 — BRAND & CONTENT
Brand is an asset. Campaigns are expenses.
What the firm publishes compounds or it does not. We build the category narrative, the editorial system that carries it, and the reports and relationships that make it credible to people who were not going to take a sales call.
IN BRIEF
- Strategy Engineered builds brand and content systems for B2B, SaaS and listed companies.
- Scope covers category narrative, brand system, editorial engine, reports, and analyst and press relations.
- Content is built as an owned, citable asset — increasingly read by language models before it is read by buyers.
- Brand & Content covers what the firm publishes. What individual executives publish sits under LinkedIn & Executive Presence. Essays by partners live at /writing.
01 — THE SITUATION
Most B2B content is produced to fill a calendar. It ranks briefly, is never cited, and cannot be pointed at in a deal. It is an expense recorded as an asset.
The second problem is newer. Buyers increasingly reach a shortlist through a language model rather than a search results page, and models cite structured, sourced, argued writing. A blog built for keyword coverage is invisible to that process no matter how much of it exists.
02 — WHAT WE DO
| Category narrative | The argument the firm publishes under, extended from positioning into a body of work rather than a tagline. |
|---|---|
| Brand system | Identity, typography and the rules that keep it consistent when many hands touch it. |
| Editorial engine | Pillars, cadence, ownership and the review gate. What is published, by whom, and what it must clear. |
| Reports and primary research | Original, sourced work that earns citation instead of asking for it. Produced with Research & Intelligence. |
| Search and answer-engine visibility | Structure, schema and source discipline so the work is retrievable and quotable by models as well as crawlers. |
| Analyst and press relations | Briefings, positioning for analyst frameworks, and the proof they will ask for. |

05 — HOW WE ENGAGE
| THE DIAGNOSTIC | Two to three weeks. The written diagnosis of your revenue system and the sequenced recommendation. The smallest honest engagement we offer. |
|---|---|
| THE SPRINT | Four to eight weeks. One defined problem — a pricing study, an entry study, a launch architecture — taken from question to decision-grade answer. |
| THE RETAINER | Quarterly. Design and build, held to numbers agreed in advance. Reviewed — and cancellable — at every quarter boundary. |
| THE EMBEDDED | We operate inside the motion: a partner and pod accountable for a revenue outcome alongside your team, until the system runs without us. |
ENGAGEMENTS START AT $3,000. SCOPE IS SET AFTER THE FIRST CONVERSATION. WE DO NOT PRICE AS A PERCENTAGE OF MEDIA SPEND.

FAQ
- Do you produce content or just plan it?
- Both. We build the system and produce the flagship work inside it, then hand the operating model to your team.
- How is this different from an SEO agency?
- We build for retrieval by models and citation by humans. Keyword coverage is an input, not the objective.
- Where does LinkedIn sit?
- Under LinkedIn & Executive Presence. This page covers what the firm publishes; that page covers what your people publish.
- Do you run paid distribution?
- Paid sits under Demand Generation. Content and paid are designed together and bought separately.
Bring us a hard problem.
Engagements begin with a conversation, not a proposal. Tell us where growth is stuck. We will tell you — plainly — whether we are the right instrument, and what we would do first.
