GTM ENGINEERING 01 — OUTBOUND AUTOMATION

Outbound that books meetings, not lists.

Most outbound fails on infrastructure, not copy. We build the enrichment layer, the sending architecture, the sequencing logic, and the CRM sync as one system — then run it until it holds without us.

IN BRIEF

  • Strategy Engineered builds and operates outbound systems for B2B and SaaS companies selling into North America, Europe, the Gulf and Southeast Asia.
  • Scope covers list construction, waterfall enrichment, deliverability infrastructure, multichannel sequencing across email and LinkedIn, and CRM sync.
  • Deliverability is treated as infrastructure — domains, warmup, authentication, inbox rotation — rather than as a setting inside a sending tool.
  • Systems are built to be handed over. The client owns the domains, the data, the sequences and the documentation.

01 — THE SITUATION

A team buys a list, buys a sending tool, writes a sequence, and sends. Open rates look survivable for three weeks and then collapse. The diagnosis is almost never the copy. It is a single sending domain with no warmup, unauthenticated mail, one enrichment source with forty percent coverage, and no suppression logic — so the same account is contacted twice by two people and the domain is burned by the fourth week.

The second failure is a data problem wearing a copy problem's clothes. Personalisation is generated from a company description scraped once, so a sequence claims relevance it cannot demonstrate. Reply rates fall, the team writes new copy against the same broken inputs, and the system never improves because nothing in it was ever measured separately.

02 — WHAT WE BUILD

List constructionThe named universe, built from firmographic and technographic criteria and a real disqualification rule, not a filter set in a sales tool.
Waterfall enrichmentMultiple sources queried in cost order until a record resolves. Coverage and cost per resolved contact measured and reported.
Deliverability infrastructureSending domains, DNS authentication, warmup schedules, inbox rotation, and volume ceilings per mailbox.
Sequence architectureMultichannel steps across email and LinkedIn, with branch logic on reply type rather than a fixed cadence.
Signal and trigger logicHiring, funding, technology change and site behaviour used as send triggers, so timing carries load that copy cannot.
CRM sync and attributionEvery touch written back to one account record, so outbound is measurable against pipeline rather than against replies.

04 — THE FIRST NINETY DAYS

1–2Universe defined and disqualification rules written. Domains purchased, DNS authenticated, warmup started.
3–4Waterfall enrichment built and coverage measured. Sequences drafted against resolved data, not assumptions.
5–8Live at controlled volume. Branch logic tuned on reply type. CRM sync and suppression verified.
9–12Scale to target volume. Handover: domains, documentation, and the operating runbook.

Owns the offer, the ICP call, and who is worth talking toBuilds and operates the infrastructure, enrichment, sequencing and syncThe domains, the data, the sequences, the documentation, the runbook
Approves messaging and handles replies that become conversationsReports coverage, placement, reply quality and pipeline weeklyEvery system, in your accounts, under your billing

08 — ENGAGEMENT SHAPES

THE DIAGNOSTICTwo to three weeks. The written diagnosis of your revenue system and the sequenced recommendation. The smallest honest engagement we offer.
THE SPRINTFour to eight weeks. One defined problem — a pricing study, an entry study, a launch architecture — taken from question to decision-grade answer.
THE RETAINERQuarterly. Design and build, held to numbers agreed in advance. Reviewed — and cancellable — at every quarter boundary.
THE EMBEDDEDWe operate inside the motion: a partner and pod accountable for a revenue outcome alongside your team, until the system runs without us.

ENGAGEMENTS START AT $3,000. SCOPE IS SET AFTER THE FIRST CONVERSATION. WE DO NOT PRICE AS A PERCENTAGE OF MEDIA SPEND.

FAQ

Do you buy lists?
No. We construct the universe from criteria and resolve contacts through a measured enrichment waterfall. Bought lists are the fastest way to burn a domain.
Whose domains and tools are these?
Yours. Purchased under your billing, in your accounts. We operate them; we do not hold them.
How long before this produces meetings?
Warmup alone takes three to four weeks and cannot be compressed responsibly. First meetings typically land in weeks five to eight.
Do you write the copy?
We write the architecture and the first sequences. Messaging is built from your positioning; where that positioning is unclear it becomes scoped work under Positioning & Narrative.
Is cold email legal?
It is regulated, differently by jurisdiction. We build to CAN-SPAM, GDPR and PECR requirements including suppression, identification and opt-out, and we document what applies to each corridor you sell into.
