GTM ENGINEERING 04 — LINKEDIN & EXECUTIVE PRESENCE

A point of view, published consistently.

Executive presence is not a posting schedule. It is a real argument, made in public, by someone whose name is on it — and it is now the most reliable source of pipeline that appears in no attribution report.

IN BRIEF

  • Strategy Engineered builds founder and executive presence on LinkedIn for B2B and SaaS companies.
  • The work starts from a defensible point of view, not a content calendar.
  • Scope covers profile architecture, the content engine, comment and connection motion, and measurement of dark-social influence.
  • Buyers reach a shortlist through conversations and feeds no attribution tool records. This is the surface that shapes them.

01 — THE SITUATION

Most executive LinkedIn presence fails in one of two directions. It is ghostwritten into generic competence — publishable, unobjectionable, forgotten — or it is abandoned after six weeks because nobody defined what the executive actually argues.

Meanwhile the buying process has moved. A committee forms a shortlist through peer conversations, private communities and feeds, then arrives at the website already decided. That surface is not measurable by conventional attribution, which is precisely why most companies under-invest in it.

02 — WHAT WE BUILD

Point of viewThe argument this executive is willing to defend in public, extracted from what they actually believe and know.
Profile architectureHeadline, banner, featured section and about copy rebuilt as a landing page rather than a résumé.
Content engineFormats, cadence, and a pipeline that runs on the executive's time rather than their goodwill.
Comment and connection motionWhere to appear, in whose thread, and what a first message looks like when it is not a pitch.
Team amplificationTurning a company of quiet accounts into a distribution surface without scripting anyone.
Dark-social measurementSelf-reported attribution, branded search lift and inbound quality as proxies for what tools cannot see.

04 — THE FIRST NINETY DAYS

1–2Point of view extracted from recorded conversations. Profiles rebuilt as landing pages.
3–4Formats and cadence set. First fortnight of posts drafted, edited and approved.
5–8Publishing live. Comment and connection motion running against mapped accounts.
9–12Measurement frame reporting self-reported source, branded search lift and inbound quality.

Cold email doesn't fail on copy. It fails on a single unwarmed domain, unauthenticated mail, and no suppression logic. Fix the infrastructure and the copy starts to matter.

07 — HOW WE FIT

The executive brings the argument and approves every postExtracts, drafts, edits, queues and measuresThe profile, the content library, the engine
Replies to their own comments and messagesRuns the connection motion against mapped accountsTwo hours a fortnight, not a second job

08 — ENGAGEMENT SHAPES

THE DIAGNOSTICTwo to three weeks. The written diagnosis of your revenue system and the sequenced recommendation. The smallest honest engagement we offer.
THE SPRINTFour to eight weeks. One defined problem — a pricing study, an entry study, a launch architecture — taken from question to decision-grade answer.
THE RETAINERQuarterly. Design and build, held to numbers agreed in advance. Reviewed — and cancellable — at every quarter boundary.
THE EMBEDDEDWe operate inside the motion: a partner and pod accountable for a revenue outcome alongside your team, until the system runs without us.

ENGAGEMENTS START AT $3,000. SCOPE IS SET AFTER THE FIRST CONVERSATION. WE DO NOT PRICE AS A PERCENTAGE OF MEDIA SPEND.

FAQ

Do you ghostwrite?
We build the argument and the system, and draft against the executive's own thinking. Nothing publishes without their sign-off. Presence that is not theirs does not survive a real conversation.
How much of the executive's time?
Roughly two hours a fortnight once the engine runs — one recorded conversation and a review pass.
Does this work for people who are not the founder?
Yes. Sales leaders and technical executives frequently carry more credibility with their counterparts than the founder does.
How do you measure it?
Self-reported attribution, branded search lift, inbound quality and reply rates. Not impressions alone.
What if the executive has no audience yet?
That is the normal starting point. Reach follows a position worth disagreeing with, not a follower count.
